Euro Giants Set to Hijack Arsene Wenger’s Move For Prolific Frenchman

Champions League runner-ups Atletico Madrid have opened negotiations with Ligue 1 giants Lyon centre-forward Alexandre Lacazatte.

Liverpool and Arsenal have been strongly linked with the siging of French hotshot, however, now they will face a tough competition from Atletico Madrid.

Diego Simeone’s side have made signing the striker a priority amid fears Antoine Griezmann may leave this summer to Man Utd.

Griezmann is wanted by the Red Devils since the last summer and Mourinho seems to be ready to break another world’s transfer record fee in order to lure Frenchman at Old Trafford.

Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in the France international’s services with both Klopp and Wenger are desperate to strengthen attacking options this summer, however, according to L’Equipe, Atletico have now begun formal talks with the French club.

The La Liga side are wary of growing interest from England in Lacazette and they are desperate to complete the deal as soon as possible.

Lyon reportedly demands around £50m for the player after rejecting offers of around £30m year ago and with the Griezmann’s transfer to Man Utd seems to be a done deal Madrid club will gather funds to lure Lyon’s forward at Vincente Calderon.

Pep Guardiola Lining Up Stunning Swap Deal For Arsenal 20-Goal’s Striker

Man City rady to offer 21-year-old centre-backs Jason Denayer to Arsenal in their £50m deal for Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.

As per Sun, Pep Guardiola is willing to offload the Belgium international who has spent 2016/17 season on loan to Sunderland and planning to use him as a makeweight in a deal for Copa America winner.

Last year, Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for Denayer following the 21-year-old’s impressive spell with Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The Citizens, meanwhile, are believed to be leading the race for former Barcelona forward and are ready to launch a £50 million offer to secure his services.

However, it seems unlikely with Arsene Wenger is against of selling the key player to their Premier League rivals.

Two weeks ago, Arsene Wenger was adamant that Copa America Winner would not be sold to another Premier League club.

‘I think he will stay and sign. First of all, he is happy here, his desire is to stay, that is what I deeply believe,’ said the Arsenal manager

‘I don’t think you would sell him to any Premier League club, that is for sure.

‘The question is why you would sell him to another club? You want to be as strong as you can be and not strengthen the other teams.

‘But as I have said, I think he will stay and sign a contract. Both parties have the desire to find an agreement, so I think it will happen.’

Arsenal Linked With Stunning Move For Last Season’s PFA Player of the Year Award Winner

Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez is reportedly expecting a departure from Leicester City during the summer transfer window, and the news have put Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City on red alert.

The Algeria international was a target for Chelsea last summer after winning the PFA Player of the year award. However, he opted with signing a new bumper deal for defending English champions Leicester City.

And while 26-year-old winger form has dipped this season, he has ended the campaign strongly and once again emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal.

The Foxes value the 26-year-old winger at around £30million.

That deal ties Mahrez down at the King Power Stadium until 2020, however, the player is reported to have been promised a move this summer by the previous manager Claudio Ranieri.

The Italian was axed from the club before the end of the season, but Mahrez still expects the Premier League reigning champions to honour that promise and allow him to leave this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph.

African winger, meanwhile, is believed to be open to staying in Premier League after emerging as a major star on these shores and Emirates Stadium could be his next destination.
