SAD NEWS: Another Arsenal star Player Wants to leave
9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.
David Ospina could push for a move away from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The Colombian goalkeeper has been made to share goalkeeping duties with Petr Cech this season but it seems he is unsatisfied with the number of games he is getting despite being the club’s choice for cup games.
Ospina has featured in all of Arsenal’s Champions League games and FA cup games this term but is yet to make a single league appearance.
And with the 28 year old still at the peak of his career, he is looking to move to a club where he will play regularly.
Arsenal have been linked with a number of goalkeepers as a successor for Cech who turns 35 later this year and the arrival of a new man would make it inevitable for Ospina to leave.
Even though Arsenal fail to sign a new goalkeeper, it wouldn’t be surprising if Ospina wanted to go. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the South America continent and deserves to be playing regularly. The decision to give him cup games was only a short-term solution to keep him happy.
Besiktas and Galatasaray have been linked with the Columbian in the past and are sure to renew their interest again in the summer transfer window.
