Deadline day: Arsenal look to complete double deal before transfer window closes

Well, a quick transfer roundup of all our potential departures (no arrivals as of yet) about to happen or not going to happen before the transfer window shuts.

Krystian Bielik:

First off ARSENAL are reportedly in advanced talks to let our highly rated youth product Krystian Bielik join Charlton Athletic on loan according to reports in Polish outlet first eleven  till the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made just one appearance for the Gunners this term, coming on as a substitute in the EFL Cup last September

The report states that talks have taken place with the League One side about a transfer and the decision reportedly rests with Arsene Wenger right now who is to take the final decision on whether sending him off to another club is going to benefit his development.

Wenger is said to possibly have reservations whether the 19-year-old is going to be afforded sufficient game time in order to aid his development.

Bielik is highly thought of at the North London club but is some way down the pecking order at the Emirates and is facing a hard time breaking into the first time so it is believed that he has the required caliber to prove manager Karl Robinson of his worth and establish himself as a starter out there.

If afforded sufficient chance he can veritably establish himself and have a breakthrough 6 months at a club which has given us players like Song and Coquelin who have returned from obscurity and have resurrected their careers out there.

Carl Jenkinson

Here’s what Arsene Wenger had to say about latest updates  on Carl’s situation:

on Carl Jenkinson…

There’s no news about him at all.

We are still open because we have many players in his position, but at the moment it doesn’t look like something will happen.

on whether Jenkinson’s move to Palace is dead…

For us, no. For him? I don’t know.

on whether it would be a permanent deal…

Yes.

Meanwhile Palace boss has suggested that they have moved on saying  he has other priorities at the moment:

“We have other priorities at the moment [than Jenkinson],”

“Who knows what might happen, but not for now.

It’s a shame he couldn’t make it at the club he loves. Hopefully, he will be able to find a club, where he could be afforded plenty of game time.

Wishing him all the best in his journey when he does move on.

It also looks like nobody is interested in Mathieu Debuchy even though he was reportedly said to be in France trying to engineer a move abroad back to Ligue 1

Let’s hope all the loan moves go through with their desired benefits for all our players.

Till the next update COYG !!!!!

Arsenal set for tough fight to sign the 24-year-old versatile defender

According to the Italian media outlets, Premier League giants Arsenal have to face competition from Euro giants Juventus and Inter Milan in their pursuit for Wolfsburg full-back Ricardo Rodriguez at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old Ricardo Rodriguez, who has played over 150 matches for the Bundesliga club since joining in 2012, has been a long-term target for Premier League top clubs.

The North London club are the latest to express an interest in the Swiss international, with reports from last week claiming the Gunners were monitoring Rodriguez’s situation.

And now, the reports from Italian publication Calciomercato suggest that Arsenal are one of three clubs interested in launching summer moves for the left-back.

It is believed Arsene Wenger’s side and Italian duo Inter Milan and Juventus are keeping tabs on Rodriguez, with both Serie A clubs desperate to bolster their defensive options.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are getting closer to sign Lyon wide-man Rachid Ghezzal, with Premier League club Everton are also willing to get the midfielder’s signature.

The Algeria international is in the last few months of his current contract deal at French club and is expected to leave as a free agent at the end of the campaign.

Everton have agreed a £12m transfer fee for Ghezzal last summer. But the player rejected the move because he wanted to sign for a top club.

DONE DEAL: Brighton boss thrilled to land Arsenal striker

Championship leaders Brighton & Hove Albion have strengthened their attacking line-up with the signing of Chuba Akpom.

Brighton have enjoyed a stunning campaign in the Championship so far and in a bid to boost their hopes of earning promotion, the Seagulls have reinforced their attacking stocks with the signing of Akpom from Arsenal.

Akpom joins Brighton on a loan deal until the end of the season and manager Chris Hughton was certainly very happy to have been able to land the services of the promising young striker amid fierce competition for his signature.

Hughton told the club's official website: "As soon as we allowed Elvis Manu to go out on loan we knew we wanted to add to the forward area, so we are delighted to bring in someone of Chuba's calibre.

"He is a young talent who gained valuable experience with Hull in the Championship last season, will give us really good pace in the forward areas and complement the other strikers at the club.

"We fought off competition from other clubs to sign Chuba, and we would like to thank Arsenal  for the opportunity of working with him for the rest of the season."

Arsenal Probable Lineup vs Watford- Midfield Conundrum Persists

Arsenal face Watford at the Emirates on Tuesday. With Liverpool and Chelsea facing each other at the same time, this is an important opportunity for Arsenal to pick up points on title challengers once again.

The Gunners are coming of an excellent 5-0 win overSouthampton in the FA Cup in a match where the full depth of their squad was on display. Despite that, only three players from that winning side will start on Tuesday.

Arsene Wenger opted to make wholesale changes to his side, handing starts to Danny WelbeckTheo Walcott, and Kieran Gibbs – all of whom just returned from injury. Youngsters Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jeff Reine-Adelaide started in the middle of the pitch withAlex Oxlade-Chamberlain to form one of the most dominating midfield performances of the season. Rob Holding slotted into central defense, next to Shkodran Mustafi, and was equally impressive.

But with Chelsea coming up this weekend in what will be a pivotal moment in the league for Arsenal, and a first leg tie against Bayern Munich on the horizon, Wenger will look to once again use the full depth of his squad. That means returns for Aaron Ramsey andFrancis Coquelin in central midfield, and Alex Iwobiup front.

Here is Arsenal’s most probable starting lineup versus Watford on Tuesday.

 Goalkeeper – Cech

Petr Cech starts in goal, replacing David Ospina.

Right Back – Bellerin

Hector Bellerin starts at right back after making a starting return to the side on Saturday since returning from an ankle injury. The Spaniard looked rusty over the weekend and Wenger will give him another match to shake off the kinks ahead of Chelsea next Saturday.

If Bellerin is unable to play due to the quick turnaround of games, Gabriel will step in at right back.

Center Backs – Mustafi & Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny returns to the side to partner up with Shkodran Mustafi. Koscielny was rested over the weekend, but his absence wasn’t felt thanks to a strong performance from Holding and Mustafi.

We may see Per Mertesacker on the bench for a second match in a row.

Left Back – Monreal

Nacho Monreal returns to the side after giving way to Gibbs on Saturday. This position could be up for grabs as neither have done anything to truly command seniority. Monreal has the upper hand for now based on health and past form. Gibbs has an opportunity to get more game time, though.

Defensive Mid – Coquelin

Coquelin returns to the starting lineup for the first time in a month. The Frenchman was held out last weekend and had previously missed the three prior weeks with a hamstring injury. Once he returned,Granit Xhaka had a strong hold on the defensive mid position. With the Swiss international suspended for another three match, Coquelin will have an opportunity to stake a claim as the preferred DM once again.

It will also be an opportunity for Coquelin to work on his on-field partnership with Ramsey, which has not flourished in the past.

Considering the mature and reassured performance by Maitland-Niles over the weekend, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him more involved in midfield as the season progresses. That could be at the expense of Coquelin and Xhaka at times.

Central Mid – Ramsey

There’s a real debate whether Oxlade-Chamberlain or Ramsey should start at central mid. Ramsey has struggled this season with injuries but recently has seen a resurgence in form. On the other hand, he’ll have to play a run of games next to Coquelin, which has been a partnership that has not worked well in the past.

Oxlade-Chamberlain for his part was superb over against Southampton and showed why Wenger has repeatedly said his future could be in central midfield. It’s no coincidence that Oxlade-Chamberlain put in three of his best performances at this position, including against AC Milan in the Champions League.

For now, Ramsey starts because of the quick turnaround. However, with Xhaka unavailable,Mohamed Elneny away at the African Nations Cup(and injured), and Santi Cazorla out for at least another two month, there should be more opportunities for Oxlade-Chamberlain in the middle of the field.

Attacking Mid – Özil

Mesut Özil starts at the number 10. Reine-Adelaide starting here over the weekend and showed he’s a clear and viable candidate to backup Özil.

Wide Right – Perez

Lucas Perez started at striker over the weekend but his versatility allows him to play across the front three. His performance over the weekend is deserving of another start.

Wide Left – Iwobi

Alexi Iwobi starts on the left. If Danny Welbeckweren’t recovering from a serious knee injury, he’d likely start again but Wenger is being cautious with Welbeck’s usage for at least another month.

Striker – Alexis

Alexis starts at striker for the first time since late December. Olivier Giroud will be on the bench.

Arsenal have £85m ready to bid for world-class attacker

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are planning to launch a massive £85m bid for the signature of Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann, putting Manchester United and Chelsea on red alert.

It is believed that alongside Arsenal, the Red Devils and the Blues are also chasing for Griezmann’s signature, with the Man United already held talks with striker representatives and are said to have thrashed out the finer points of the deal, including the 25-year-old’s salary and potential squad number.

Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone gave Premier League clubs encouragement earlier this month when he admitted he wouldn’t stand in the way of their star man, should he look to seek a new challenge in the summer.

But now, Arsene Wenger’s side are expected to challenge Manchester United and Chelsea for Griezmann’s services, with the Gunners prepared to trigger the release clause of France international.

Arsenal fans favourite star linked with shock move to Manchester City

As per The Times, Arsenal are in danger of losing their classy defender Hector Bellerin to Manchester City, as the Citizens head coach Pep Guardiola is ready to revive his interest in signing highly-rated right-back in summer.

The 21-year-old youngster is regarded as one of the best full-backs across the Europe right now after his impressive form for the Gunners in recent years, though he only recently handed a new contract deal at North London club.

Man City head coach Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of his fellow countryman, and is believed to be considering the Spaniard as one of five main targets for next season.

According to the same sources, the former Barcelona boss is also keen on Valencia’s Jose Gaya, Bayern Munich’s Juan Bernat and Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk as additions in defence, while Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains a top target in attacking areas.

However, it is understood that Arsenal won’t let Bellerin to leave at this stage, with the 21-year-old also known to be very loyal to Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.

When the Spanish full-back signed a six-and-a-half-year deal in November, he said: ‘I’ve been here for a long time and I feel like this is my home so this was the right thing to do. I’m really happy to be a Gunner for a few more years.

‘This is my home. The club who gave me my first opportunity.’

Arsenal trying to sign highly-rated midfield destroyer

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have already sent scouts to watch Porto’s highly-rated midfielder Danilo Pereira in a 4-2 victory over Rio Ave last Saturday.

The Portugal international has seen his profile sky rocket in the last two years after signing for FC Porto from Maritimo back in 2015.

The 25-year-old has impressed the Arsenal scouts as he scored in a thrilling match that saw The Dragons come back from 2-1 down.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s men clawed their way back to 2-2 before Danilo popped up to put his side in front in the 62nd minute.

As per A Bola, the in-form midfielder is believed to have a £34.5m release clause in his contract deal that have put Arsenal on alert as Danilo could be available in the summer. The Portugal international has climbed back to the top of Liga NOS after being released by Benfica in 2010.

A spell aboard before an impressive two years at Maritimo earned the midfield star a ticket back to the top with FC Porto.

Danilo’s rise culminated with playing his part in Portugal’s historic triumph in Euro 2016 tournamet as he made five appearances on the way to the final.

Arsenal want to complete deal for 17-goal striker before deadline day

Arsenal are reportedly looking to send prolific academy striker Stephy Mavididi on loan before the transfer market window officially closes 2 days time, according to reports in ESPN.

The 18-year-old who is an English player who was born in Derby, was the highest goalscorer for the U-21’s last season.

His numbers last season are very impressive as he netted 17 goals in 30 appearances. The powerful striker helped the U-21 side managed by Steve Gatting earn promotion into Division 1.

Described as a hardworking and dedicated player by his handlers, Mavididi is a potential star for the club.

He was part of the squad that represented England in the U-17 World cup at Chile 2015, that crashed out in the group stages.

Having being promoted to the u23 side this season, he has already registered 8 goals in 17 appearances which many believe, is the reason behind the management’s decision to send him out on loan, in a bid to secure first team action for the young lad and accelerate his development phase.

Very comfortable playing as a lone striker, he embodies the talents of a classic center forward very much like a Didier Drogba of yesteryear in Chelsea.

The 18-year-old will be excited as the possibilities of breaking into the senior side seems rather closer than first imagined.

A number of championship and league 1 sides have expressed their desire to have him since he became available for loan.

I won’t be surprised if he returns and pulls off an Alex Iwobi, who has become an integral part of the senior team.

At a point in modern football were clubs of Arsenal’s stature and ambition are squarely focused on out pricing each other for established names, it is refreshing to see Arsenal FC are still giving young academy products a world class stage to shine on.

Good luck to you Stephy Mavididi on your loan and Congratulations to The Gunners for being a beacon of hope for youths in football academies all over the world especially in England.

GOOD NEWS: Arsenal to sign Wenger’s dream striker for €60m

According to the latest transfer news Spain, Champions League holders Real Madrid are increasingly coming around to the idea of selling their second choice striker Alvaro Morata, but they’ll only consider offers that will be above £50million.

The 24-year-old striker has been a long-term target for several Premier League top clubs and Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger is determined to sign the out-of-favour striker in order to reinforce his attack.

The Spain international is understood to be frustrated by his current situation at Santiago Bernabeu, where he has mainly operated from the bench in recent weeks.

As per the Spanish publication Diario Gol, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is growing tired of Morata’s attitude and could be willing to sell the top-class striker.

It is believed that alongside Arsenal, another Premier League club Chelsea are also showing an interest in signing Alvaro Morata this month, with a bid in excess of £51m required to force the La Liga club into selling.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the Spain international after the contract extension talks with Alexis Sanchez have been stalled, with the current deal of the Chilean superstar expires in 2018.

GOOD NEWS: Chief agrees to sell for £51m, Arsenal free to sign long-term target

According to reports today, Arsenal could finally get their hands on Alvaro Morata as the striker is looking to leave Real Madrid and the La Liga giants are willing to sell for £51m.

As many of you will know, we’ve been constantly linked with Morata in recent years and reports back in the summer claimed that Arsene Wenger was desperate to land the forward when he was tipped to leave Juventus.

Once again, we missed out as the 24-year-old eventually made a move back to the Bernabeu after Madrid triggered a buyback clause in his contract which was inserted when he was sold to Juve in 2014.

However, predictably Morata has struggled to hold down a first team place at Madrid with the striker making just 6 league starts so far in what has been a hugely disappointing campaign.

The Metro are citing a report coming from Spanish outlet Diario Gol that claims Morata is now looking to leave after becoming increasingly frustrated with life on the bench and once again Arsenal’s name is being linked.

The newspaper says that we’ve shown the most serious interest so far but we’ll now face stiff competition from Chelsea with Antonio Conte also keen on signing the Spanish hitman as a potential replacement for Diego Costa – who’s expected to leave this summer.

The Metro report states that Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to sell Morata as he’s grown tired of his bad attitude but the bad news is that the La Liga giants will want at least £51m to do business.

Arsenal could afford that kind of money but we won’t be able to compete with Chelsea on wages if that’s what it comes down to, so there’s still a long way to go before we see Morata in the famous Red & White.

Any potential deal will wait until the summer as I think we’ll only look to bring in a top class striker if we’re forced to sell Alexis Sanchez – who’ll have just one year remaining on his contract in June if he doesn’t agree an extension over the coming months.

I still pray the Chilean can be persuaded to stay in north London but if the worst happens and we decide to cash-in, then Morata would certainly be an interesting replacement.

The youngster has bags of quality and he just hasn’t been given the chance to fulfill his potential at Madrid, so I could see him really flourishing if given a more prominent role at a club like Arsenal.

Arsenal Forward Seriously Blasts Granit Xhaka

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry was unimpressed by Granit Xhaka’s display against Burnley on Sunday.

The summer signing from Borussia Monchengladbach was red carded mid way into the second half for a reckless tackle on Steven Defour after losing the ball on the middle of the park.

Having been reduced to ten men, we were made to work hard for the final 25 minutes of the game and it was a 98th minute winner from Alexis Sanchez that got us all three points after Andy Gray pulled Bunley level on the 93rd minute.

The dismissal means Xhaka will miss the next four games having been sent off already this season and Henry is unhappy with the midfielder’s decision making when tackling.

The Gunners all time goalscorer believes the big money summer arrival ought to be doing better.

“It’s not the first time. He did the same thing against Swansea,” Henry told Sky Sports, as quoted by theExpress.

“This one I just don’t get it. Against Swansea it was a counter. Here, he gives the ball cheaply away.

“Why are you doing that 60 yards away from your goal, 25 minutes to go, you’re in control of the game? You misplace a pass. So what? Stay on your feet.

“As soon as you do that, the rules say it’s a red. Is it worse than [Marcos] Rojo who didn’t get a red? No. But the rule says both feet off the ground, it’s a red.”

Henry isn’t the only one fuming with Xhaka, as everyone who watched the game on Sunday was baffled and angered by the midfielder’s decision to go in two footed on Defour at the centre of the pitch.

His discipline has been questioned on several occasions this season and I think it’s high time he improved on that aspect of his game.

When he was making the switch from Monchengladbach, there was much talk about his leadership qualities on and off the pitch and I must say he hasn’t shown any quality that makes him a leader on the pitch.

Although I would give him some slack by saying he is still adapting to the style and speed of the EPL but he must remember that he is running out of time and must improve.

Arsenal Star Player to leave this January

Aston Villa are keen on signing Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom on loan before the deadline next week.

The Arsenal youngster is yet to feature for the Gunners in the league this season despite being part of the first team squad.

And according to the Birmingham Mail Bruce is looking to recruit a fifth player in this window to boost Villa’s play-off push.

Steve Bruce and Arsene Wenger have a track record of loan deals and it looks like Akpom could be another to continue his develop under the ex-United star.

If a deal is completed, it will be the fifth loan spell of the 21 year-old’s career so far. Akpom has already enjoyed a spell under the English manager – he spent much of last season on loan at Hull City while Bruce was in charge.

The striker is likely to receive plenty of playing time following the departure of Rudy Gustede who earlier this month was sold to Middlesborough for £6m.

Three reasons Arsenal should sell this Star

Three reasons Arsenal should cash-in on Sanchez.

Without a doubt, Alexis Sanchez is an incredible talent.

Since arriving from Barcelona in summer 2014, the Chilean has ripped apart Premier League defences on a regular basis, amassing 44 goals and 19 assists in 87 top flight appearances.

This season alone, he’s netted 15 times – propelling himself to joint-top of the scoring charts and Arsenal to second in the league table, albeit still some distance behind pace-setters Chelsea.

Yet, the winger-forward’s future at the Emirates Stadium remains unclear as his contract saga continues to rumble on, with his current terms due to expire at the end of next season.

That essentially puts an ultimatum upon the Gunners come the summer; either buckle to his demands, allow him to leave for a decent fee or face the prospect of losing him on a free transfer in summer 2018.

It may not be a particularly popular opinion – in fact, quite the opposite – but we reckon selling could prove the smarter move for the Gunners. Here are three reasons why.

Good news for Arsenal: Forgotten star expected to be announced in starting eleven on Saturday

Arsenal’s list of injured players is now reducing just at the right time as the squad gears up for a decisive period in the campaign.

The Gunners are targeting their first piece of silverware since winning the FA Cup final against Aston Villa two seasons ago.

Injuries to important stars have played a part in interrupting Arsenal’s momentum with Danny Welbeck only recently making his way back from a long lay-off.

The 26-year-old has made just three appearances off the bench so far this season but he is expected to be given a different role this weekend.

According to the Evening Standard, Welbeck is on course to make his first start for Arsenal since May 2016 on Saturday as the Gunners travel to Southampton for an FA Cup fifth-round tie.

Welbeck in action vs Burnley – his first game at the Emirates since returning

The England international’s return to full fitness will be very good news for Wenger who has relied heavily on Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud as his only options at centre-forward thus far.

With Welbeck odds-on to start upfront, Wenger is expected to make other big changes and rest a few first team regulars despite Arsenal’s poor recent record at the St. Mary’s stadium.

Arsenal target makes Huge transfer statement

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Reported Arsenal target Antoine Griezmann has dropped the biggest hint yet that he’s prepared to snub interest from Manchester United and remain at Atletico Madrid.

The French forward’s future has been the subject of intense speculation with United believed to be hoping to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer.

Talks between Griezmann’s party and the Red Devils are reported to have taken place earlier this month, with key details in the possible switch, such as his salary and shirt number, already agreed.

But Griezmann, 25, appeared to hit back at speculation linking him to United during Atletico Madrid’s 2-2 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

The France international rescued a point for the visitors with a late equalizer and after scoring the goal, shouted: ‘This is my home, here.’

Spanish outlet AS say Griezmann repeated the phrase while pointing to the ground, in reference to rumours linking him with a move.

Griezmann’s 80th-minute strike against Bilbao took his season tally to 14 goals from 27 games.

Arsenal should pay £51m to sign 26-year-old in-demand midfielder

Premier League giants Arsenal reportedly had sent scouts to watch £51million-rated Porto midfield star Yacine Brahimi in action ahead of potential swoop during the January transfer window.

Arsenal have been linked with a big-money move for the Algeria international star who has impressed in Porto in the recent years and has been identified as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez whose future at Emirates remains unclear.

The Gunners may be sweating over the futures of German playmaker Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez at the moment, with both players yet to sign a contract extension with the club with both of them 18 months remaining on their current deal.

Algerian midfielder has shown he could be an ideal replacement in the attacking midfield department, and Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims the club are ready to listen to offers for highly-demanded midfielder.

Brahimi is said to have a release clause of around £51m at Porto, so could make the potential departures of Ozil and Sanchez even more costly for the north Londoners.

Wenger moves in for signing of $45.1 million star ahead of deadline day – Report

Arsenal have once again emerged as one of the teams pursuing the acquisition of a Ligue 1 star according to reports.

Arsene Wenger has loaned out more players than he has purchased this month, sanctioning deals for the likes of Jon Toral and Daniel Crowley to temporary leave the club while securing the surprise addition of Cohen Bramall from the seventh division of English football.

Despite suggesting that he is done with incoming transfer business for January, the Arsenal manager has continued to be linked with a move for another midfielder to bolster his squad as he chases a first Premier League title since 2004.

Thus, the Sun are now claiming that Arsenal have moved into the race to sign Olympique Lyonnais star Corentin Tolisso.

The Gunners are apparently interested in the acquisition of the 22-year-old before the current transfer window ends as Granit Xhaka prepares for a four-match domestic suspension.

Wenger’s ability to recruit French players could be the Gunners’ advantage but Tolisso could cost a fortune after Juventus made their own offer of $45.1 million for the youngster.

The midfielder, who is also being targeted by Chelsea, has three more years remaining on his contract with the French giants.

REVEALED: Key Arsenal target ready to leave the club, admits boss

AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has admitted that M’Baye Niang, who is understood to be a top target for Arsenal this winter, may leave his current side in the days to come.

The boss was quoted telling Milan TV: “Niang might leave the club. He’s discussing it with the management. He won’t be called up for the game against Juve as I thought he would definitely have been distracted.”

Montella added that the youngster has been mulling over a move for quite some time now. He pointed out that while the Frenchman is certainly a talented player, he does need to improve upon himself in certain areas.

The 22 year old, who is currently contracted to Milan until the summer of 2019, has been on the wishlist of the Gunners, and even West Ham United, in recent times. It is understood that manager Arsene Wenger views the player, who can ply his trade as a winger on either flank and a centre forward, as the ideal long term solution for the side’s needs up front.

Niang can certainly prove to be a good signing for the north London giants, going by the considerable big stage experience that he possesses. He, however, is known to have attitude problems at times, which may be a cause for worry for Wenger, with the latter known to be a stickler for discipline. Having said that, the fact remains that the club have an excellent chance of landing the youngster this winter, possibly even for a bargain price, with Milan also seemingly open to the prospect of letting him go.

GOOD NEWS: Arsenal Open Talks with 27-year-old Serie A Winger

Croatian international winger Ivan Perisic set to become a subject of transfer battle as Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on his signature, according to Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The Inter Milan star is not available in January, however, he will be open to leave Serie A giants in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all interested in the 27-year-old winger who has signed for Italian clubs for £14m back in August.

It is believed that the Croatia international will worth around £35m and Arsenal should have that would not put off the Premier League trio.

Inter are reportedly willing to cash in on their star man to fund their own summer dealings.

La Gazzetta dello Sport adds that Arsenal have an advantage in the race as Italian giants eyeing move for the Gunners forward Alexis Sanchez and they could agree on a swap deal.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are also keen on to sign Arsenal long-term target Kostas Manolas and they are preparing £34,5m to fend off interest from Premier League clubs.

ALMOST DONE: Arsenal announce £52m Move For Next Cristiano Ronaldo

Portuguese wonderkid Goncalo Guedes has found the net twice in front of Arsenal scouts this week as Wenger is desperate to sign one of the brightest talents in Europea who has been dubbed as the” next Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Premier League giants have sent representatives to watch the Cup game between Benfica and Guimaraes where Cuedes has once again proved that he is one of the best young talents in Benfica.

Guedes has a £52 million release clause in his current deal and the Gunners will have to break the bank to lure him at Emirates Stadium with hosts of European clubs are in hunt for his signature.

Arsenal have in front of Arsenal scouts after the club were assured a deal to bring the youngster to Paris Saint-Germaine were false rrumors

Earlier this month reports from France suggested that Guedes has been on the verge to sign for Ligue 1 defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The forward can play up front, but often plays just behind the main striker and with the current situation at Emirates stadium he could be an ideal addition for Wenger’s squad.

Arsenal Trending Today: Battle for top-class striker, Hint dropped, £85.5m striker could be next target

Wenger has been told to make immediate move for £85.5m World-class striker
Famous football pundit and Arsenal legend Paul Merson has urged Arsene Wenger to beat Manchester United in the race for ‘world class’ forward Antoine Griezmann.
Atletico Madrid star has been heavily linked with a move to Man United this week, with the Frenchman reportedly agreeing important details and personal term ahead of the summer switch.
The proposed deal is expected to surpass a world-record transfer fee of Paul Pogba, but Paul Merson believes the Gunners should definitely try to get Griezmann’s signature in summer.
During his interview with talkSPORT, the former Arsenal star said: ‘They pay top dollar those Arsenal fans.
‘When you’re paying that kind of money you have to be watching world class footballers at the club. You can’t just have two – you should have five and six in my opinion.
‘With Griezmann, people go ‘they’ve [Arsenal] got that kind of player’. They haven’t. They’ve got two of them but you could do with another one.
‘For me there isn’t a club in the world that wouldn’t want Griezmann.’
The 25-year-old France international started his professional career at La Liga side Real Sociedad and sealed a move to Atletico Madrid back in 2014.
Griezmann reportedly  has £85.5 release clause in his current deal.
The in-form No.7 has scored 51 goals in 92 league matches for Diego Simeone’s side since his arrival, and was the top scorer at Euro 2016 tournament with six goals for runners-up France.
Arsenal’s long-term transfer target, 20 goals striker drops massive hint
Arsenal top transfer target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund has admitted that he could leave Bundesliga giants this summer – but the striker has ruled out a move to Dortmund’s arch rivals Bayern Munich.
The 27-year-old in-form star has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the Signal Iduna Park with the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid actively chasing for his signature.
He’s been in stunning form this season, scoring 20 goals in 22 matches for Bundesliga club before netting in both of Gabon’s first two Africa Cup of Nation group games.
After four successful years in Bundesliga, the Gabon international insists he is enjoying his time at Dortmund but conceded he could leave at the end of the campaign.
During his interview with Fussball Bild, Aubameyang said: ‘No one can predict the future. The only thing for sure is that I’m currently with Dortmund and I love it there.
‘But I cannot say that I’ll stay for another two, five or 10 years. It is possible that in June a club comes to an agreement with Dortmund.
‘At the moment I really don’t think about it. I focus only on the work with my team-mates with Dortmund and Gabon.’
When Aubameyang was asked about a potential move to Bayern Munich, he replied: ‘Never would I switch to Bayern.’
PSG, Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester City all desperately chasing 14 goals Arsenal star
According to the French media outlets, Paris Saint-Germain are urging Arsenal in-form striker Alexis Sanchez to turn down a new contract deal at the Emirates Stadium in order to complete a summer transfer to the League 1 giants.
The 28-year-old South American superstar is known to be attracting interest from a number of top clubs across the Europe of late, with the likes of Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester City are also after him.
Sanchez is stalling on signing a new contract deal with the Gunners, who are struggling to meet his high wage demands, and Paris Saint-Germain are now on the case.
The reports from the Daily Mirror claim that French champions are advising the Chile international to snub any new offers from the north London club as they plan a move to sign him on a cut-price deal in the summer.
The former Barcelona star is valued at around £60m, but could leave for considerably less at the end of this term if his contract situation remains as it is.
Arsene Wenger is not willing to risk losing his star man on a free, but would find him in the final year of his contract deal if he doesn’t renew by the end of the 2016/17 season.

Arsenal vs Burnley: Match Preview And Prediction

So Arsenal welcome Sean Dyche’s Burnley outfit to the Emirates for the 2.15pm kick-off on Sunday in the Premier League as the Gunners are coming into the match on the back of a 4-0 thumping of Swansea City away where they totally dominated proceedings. Burnley come into the match on the back of losing 6 and winning 4 of their past 10 Premier League matches whereas Arsenal have won 6, drawn 2 and lost 2 of their last 10 Premier League fixtures and will be wanting to make sure of all 3 points against the lower positioned sides after dropping 2 points recently against Bournemouth where they went 3-0 down before roaring back with 20 minutes to go to secure a very valuable point from what was ultimately a 3-3 tie.
Looking at recent history Arsenal are unbeaten in their past 7 encounters with the Lancashire club in all competitions having won 6 games while drawing only 1 game. Their last loss to Burnley came way back in December 2008 when they lost 2-0 in the League Cup. Burnley have lost on their last 5 trips to play the Gunners away in all competitions since they last won way, way back in September of 1974 triumphing by a 1-0 scoreline in the League.
When you compare the two sides from an offensive point of view it is plain to see that Arsenal are by far the more attacking outfit as Alexis Sanchez has managed an almost League leading 155 touches in the opponents’ penalty area (2nd only just to Man City’s Raheem Sterling who has 156 touches in the opponents’ penalty area). Burnley on the other hand are way behind as their top player in this statistic is Welsh international striker Sam Vokes who has only managed about a third of Sanchez’s number with 57 touches in the opponents’ penalty area.
Sanchez has a really impressive record against the Clarets as in his past 2 games against them in all competitions at the Emirates Stadium he has scored 3 goals and added an assist. Olivier Giroud is also red-hot coming into the match as he has scored in 4 consecutive games for Arsenal and looking at the bigger picture Giroud has actually scored 11 goals in his last 9 starts for the club so he is a man bang in-form.
While Arsenal mainly rely on a few sources for goals, Burnley have had an extraordinary 13 different scorers this season, tieing them with Manchester City for the League high. Of course Burnley have had massive trouble getting results away from Turf Moor as they have the worst record away from home of all Premier League clubs – losing 8 games and drawing only 1 game. Burnley however are looking much better than the last time they were in the top flight as they already have 26 points so far this season which puts them only 7 points off the 33 points they managed in the whole campaign in 2014/15 when they were last playing in the Premier League.
So you could argue that Burnley are due for a win at the Emirates especially as they come into the match after winning over Southampton 1-0 at home last time out but we think Arsenal are bang back in-form after their 4-0 demolition of Swansea City  last weekend. Therefore after analysing the stats we think Arsenal will win the game by a 3-1 scoreline and the Gunners will be hoping that they can beat the Clarets before Chelsea kick-off in their 4.15pm Sunday game againt Hull City thereby applying some pressure to the Blues to not drop points and allow the Gunners to gain valuable ground on them in the title race.

Pictures: He’s back! Injured key Gunner returns to full training with first team

Arsene Wenger is gradually gaining back most of his missing options in the squad with next month’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich looming.
Arsenal have endured their usual tough luck with injuries yet again this season as they pursue their first silverware since the FA Cup triumph in May 2015.
Theo Walcott, whose last appearance was in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, is one of the stars who could not play a part in last weekend’s trip to Swansea City.
However, the England international has managed to return to full training with the first team ahead of the clash with Burnley.
Arsene Wenger suggested on Thursday that the Englishman was unlikely to be ready to play on Sunday but Walcott was involved in Saturday morning’s training session anyway.
Here were a few shots of the action at London Colney today…

DEAL CLOSE: £36.3 million transfer to be confirmed as Arsenal target makes decision

There is a new loss for Arsenal in their pursuit of transfer targets as the January window nears a close.

Despite ending the summer with exciting deals for Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez, Arsene Wenger dealt with disappointment for much of the transfer window as the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez rejected moves to the Emirates stadium.

Julian Draxler, who joined Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of this month, also recently turned down Arsenal’s offer of a transfer.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the Gunners have lost another target, Kostas Manolas, who has now agreed to join Inter Milan from AS Roma.

The report is indicating that Manolas, the subject of strong interest from Arsenal in the past two years, has been approached on several occasions by the north London side.

However, Arsenal’s £34.6 million offer for the signing of the defender was rejected by Roma who have rather chosen to accept Inter Milan’s £36.3m bid.

Report: Arsenal in negotiations to sign winger with £51.8 million release clause

According to Portuguese outlet Record (as reported bySport Witness in English), Premier League giants Arsenal are currently in negotiations with Benfica over the signing of Gonçalo Guedes.
Arsenal have been touted to make a move for a host of names during the January transfer window and although manager Arsene Wenger has already insisted that he is not looking to bring in anyone to the club before the end of the month, this has not stopped the Gunners being linked with a host of names.
Now in bold claims from Portuguese outlet Record, Arsenal are currently in negotiations with Benfica over the signing of wonderkid Gonçalo Guedes.
Guedes enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for Benfica last season and has really taken his game to the next level during the current campaign, scoring 7 goals as well as providing 7 assists in 28 appearances in all competitions so far.
As a result of such fine performances, Guedes has attracted the interest of a host of clubs and now reports state that Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira is currently in London alongside agent Jorge Mendes to negotiate the sale of the 20-year-old (who has a £51.8 million release clause) to Arsenal.

Arsenal News Report: 20-goals target drops transfer hint, while Wenger urged to sign world class No. 7

When Aubameyang was asked about a potential move to Bayern Munich, he replied: ‘Never would I switch to Bayern.’

Meanwhile, famous football pundit and Arsenal legend Paul Merson has urged Arsene Wenger to beat Manchester United in the race for ‘world class’ forward Antoine Griezmann.

DEAL DONE: Arsenal sign playmaker… he will be at the club next season

The news has been revealed in an FA document published on their official website.

It still hasn’t been announced by the club.

Cazorla’s name appears on a list of players who have been registered in December.

The Spaniard is said to have been registered on December 20.

Santi Cazorla's name appears on an FA list of newly-signed contracts

Cazorla, 32, was out of contract in the summer and free to talk to other clubs in January.

But it appears Arsenal have already moved to tie him up for at least another season.

Cazorla joins Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscielny in penning new deals at the club.

Per Mertesacker too has agreed a new deal to stay at Arsenal for another season.

Star sends message to Arsenal fans after agreeing deal with Gunners

For the second week in a row, Arsenal have an important deal in the bag ahead of the weekend’s Premier League fixture.
Arsene Wenger decided to reward Francis Coquelin, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny with new deals last week, as the club aims to secure the future of key players who have been linked with a departure.
Despite not making a single appearance this season, Per Mertesacker has also been handed a contract extension to remain at the Emirate stadium for one more year at least.
And after agreeing the new deal, the German international, who will continue to earn $86,000 per-week in wages, has chosen to send out an encouraging message to the fans.
“I would like to say how very grateful I am to have extended my contract here. It makes me really proud and also a bit emotional. I’ve been out for six months now and to have such trust and belief from the manager makes me very humble and thankful.” Mertesacker said in his programme notes ahead of the Burnley game.
“Trust me, I’ll do everything possible on a daily basis to make myself better and everybody around me better. I’m working really hard to come back and show that I’m still capable on the pitch, because I want to help make this great club as successful as possible.
“My love for this club is authentic. I care a lot about team-mates, about fans, and I want people to identify with us. It’s very important to me now and it always has been. I feel like there’s always been a link between myself and Arsenal.”

Arsenal are in talks over a summer deal for Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal, according to reports in France.
The 24-year-old’s current contract with the Ligue 1 club expires at the end of the season, meaning that he could leave on a free transfer this summer.
And Foot Mercato claim that the Gunners have already got in touch with the Algeria international’s representatives over a potential deal.
But Arsenal face stiff competition with Atletico Madrid, Monaco, Valencia, AC Milan and Everton all keeping tabs on the midfielder’s situation.
Ghezzal was one of the stars of Lyon’s season last year, scoring eight goals and registering eight assists in 29 Ligue 1 appearances.
But this term, a hamstring injury has restricted the tricky winger to just nine league starts so far.

Jese Rodriguez has reportedly only a transfer to Las Palmas would convince him to leave Paris Saint Germain.

The PSG attacker has found life difficult in Ligue 1 since arriving in the summer and has been linked with a move to Liverpool in January.

Liverpool are thought to be interested in taking the former Real Madrid man on loan for the rest of the season, but Rodriguez only has eyes for Las Palmas.

Rodriguez is a native of Las Palmas and is desperate for a return to La Liga in a bid to restart his career that has somewhat stalled at PSG.

The 23-year-old has scored just once in the league and two in all competitions after swapping the Bernabeu for the Parc des Princes in the summer.

Wenger set to pay heavily to sign this 16 year old youngster – Reports

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Arsenal and Manchester City are both interested in signing Juventus youngster Moise Keane, according to reports.

Keane, 16, is highly rated at Juventus and is seen as the Italian club’s brightest talent. Despite his tender age, the youngster is already making waves in Italy and Europe at large and a lot of top clubs are already keeping an eye on his development.

The youngster made his Serie A debut for Juventus in November and although it is his only appearance till date, the Italian giants value him at about £10m.

He is currently the youngest player to play in the Serie A and also the youngest to play in the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger is aware of the young man’s potential and is said to be interested in signing him. However, it is expected that Juventus will rebuff any attempt to sign the young man. They recently tied the player down to a new long term contract and will not let him leave easily.

The youngster is already being managed by Mino Raiola and the rep has backed the striker to make the headlines this season.

“Moise Kean is the name to watch in 2017 and I’m not just saying that as I’m his agent.

“He’s 16 but has a determination within him that is scary.”

I’m not surprised that a talented player like Keane is being linked with Arsenal. Wenger is known for recruiting and developing young players into top stars and Keane could well be the next, who knows?

Wenger return for summer target, star could cost €40m

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in signing Lazio striker Stefan de Vrij, according to reports.

De Vrij was linked with a move to the Emirates last summer when we were actively in search of a centre back but Wenger ended up signing Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia.

However, De Vrij could leave Lazio at the end of the season, having failed to agree a new deal with his club. The Italian giants now face a battle to keep their talisman with as many as three Premier League clubs interested in the defender.

Unsurprisingly, Arsenal’s name is mentioned as one of the clubs that could make a bid for the defender in the summer.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the other two clubs interested in the €40m rated defender and they are expected to rival Arsenal for the Dutchman’s services.

De Vrij has established himself as one of Serie A’s best defenders in recent seasons and it is no surprise that he is being linked with a host of top stars.

However, I doubt if the Arsenal interest is true, looking at the number of options we have in that position.

Some may argue that as far as Arsenal’s defense is concerned, there would be no need for reinforcements in the summer as we appear well fortified in that position.

On the contrary, De Vrij could be an upgrade to our current back up options and will provide serious competition for the Mustafi-Koscielny partnership, which will in turn improve the team.

Fellow Gooners, I don’t know which side you stand on this subject but i would prefer we pass up the opportunity to sign De Vrij, he could cost us a lot of money when we have other positions that needs more attention.

£100,000-a-week star Insists Manager has final decision on his Arsenal transfer

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

On loan Arsenal star Wojciech Szczesny has revealed that Arsene Wenger will have the final decision on his future.

Szczesny is currently on loan at Roma for the second consecutive year and we recently covered a report yesterday that claimed that the Italian giants want to sign him permanently.

It has been suggested that the player will not want to return  to Arsenal if he isn’t guaranteed a first team place at the Emirates but the player has told Corriere Dello Sport that his future is in the hands of Arsene Wenger.

He said: “My future? I would also like to know where I will be, as quoted by the Independent.

“The truth is that it’s in the hands of Wenger, the coach and man in whose hands [my career has been] since I was 16.”

Szczesny will have just one year left in his contract when he returns from his Roma loan spell and many fear that we may be forced to let him leave permanently if he doesn’t sign a new contract but his words will please Arsenal chiefs and fans alike as the player has now left the door open to extending his stay here.

It is unlikely that Cech would stop being Arsenal’s first choice goalie next season but if Szczesny decides to stay with us, Wenger could split goalkeeping duties between him and the Czech Republic man but that means the end of David Ospina at the Emirates.

I don’t know what Wenger plans are actually and it will be interesting to find out what his plans are. I think the Polish shot stopper has improved as a goalkeeper than compared to when he first left us two years ago and could just help save us from spending big cash in search of a successor to Cech.

Arsenal star set to leave this January not Jenkinson

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Arsenal are looking to send club captain Per Mertesacker out on loan, according to reports.

Mertesacker hasn’t played for Arsenal this season since suffering a knee injury in preseason.

His future at Arsenal is now in doubt and the club is considering sending him out on loan.

The 32 year old’s contract expires at the end of the current season but Wenger is keen for the German to prove his fitness before extending his contract.

The Times via Football Insider  have now revealed that Wenger would consider sending the player out on loan so he can prove he deserves a new contract.

This isn’t a bit surprising to me because Mertesacker has dropped down Wenger’s pecking order since the start of the season. The arrival of Rob Holding and Shkodran Mustafi in the summer transfer window means the German is now Wenger’s fifth choice centre back.

Wenger is unlikely to send the player on loan to a Premier League club with a move to Germany more likely but a decision won’t be taken until the final days of the transfer window.

A loan move to a club where the veteran can play regularly will be of good benefit because sitting on the bench after being out for a long time could quickly bring his career to an end, considering his age.

With plenty of options in defense, I don’t think letting the defender leave temporary will be a bad decision. It could even be of more benefit for Arsenal in the future as the defender could return to us full of confidence and then become a key part of our squad for next season.

Club doing everything possible to sign this star this January

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Crystal Palace are doing everything possible to sign Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson.

Wenger has told the defender he can find a new club this month and Arsenal are willing to accept a permanent bid or a loan bid with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Crystal Palace are interested in signing Jenkinson on loan and are hoping to beat a host of clubs to the defender’s signature.

Swansea City, Watford and West Ham are the other Premier League clubs interested in the defender. Championship side Aston Villa are also keeping tabs on the defender but it is Palace who are believed to be showing the most interest.

Palace boss Sam Allardyce worked with Jenkinson at West Ham two seasons ago and he is keen to bring the defender to selhurst Park this month.

Jenkinson is not the only right back set to leave the Emirates this winter as Debuchy is also expected to leave the club.

The English defender joined Arsenal from Charlton Athletic in 2011 with so much expectations but he has failed to fulfill his potential here. At 24, a move to a club where he would be playing regularly could help boost his confidence and then help him relaunch his career.

Arsenal star slams Wenger, tells boss to splash the cash to complete deal

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Former Gunners midfielder Ray Parlour has urged Arsenal to meet Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s contract demands.

Arsenal have been in talks with both players over a new deal since August and an agreement is yet to be reached.

Both parties involved in the negotiations have been shifting responsibility to each other but Parlour wants the club to stop wasting time and get the deal done. Arsene Wenger has publicly urged the players to commit their futures to the club but they are claiming their renewal is down to the club.

Before now, the Daily Mail and others claimed one of the players demand which is proving to be a stumbling block is their refusal to lower their wage demands and while this has brought some level of criticisms on the players from fans and legends, Parlour has backed the duo, claiming their demands should be met.

“Ozil and Sanchez are big factors in Arsenal going forward – you need to keep your best players. Arsenal have got more of a chance of winning something with Sanchez and Ozil in the team than without them,” said Parlour, as quoted Football insider.

“I think the biggest question at Arsenal at the moment is Sanchez. You’ve got to keep your best players and also add to that, and the big decision the board have got to make is whether they break the bank for him.”

Putting it at the back of your mind that meeting the players demand will smash Arsenal’s wage structure, do you think the club should do that in a bid to keep them at all cost?

I don’t have a problem with smashing the wage structure as both players deserve an improved contract but I don’t think it will be wise to meet their demands as it won’t put Arsenal in a good position in future negotiations. Other players could decide to hold the club to ransom, knowing fully well that the club would succumb to their demands.

Sources confirm Arsenal in advance talks to complete deal for £100k-a-wk Serie A star

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Reports in Italy are suggesting AS Roma want a permanent deal for Wojciech Szczesny at the end of the season.

Szczesny joined Roma on a season long loan last summer and has impressed for the Italian giants so far.

It is the second successive year that the Poland shot stopper is spending at the Serie A club and he has subsequently established himself as a key member of their squad.

According to Corriere Dello Sport via Daily Express, Roma wants to sign the goalkeeper permanently but the player in question would prefer to return to the Emirates.

Even though Roma push for a deal to happen, there could be a stumbling block to the player joining them permanently. Arsenal value the goalkeeper for around £14m which Roma are reluctant to pay.

The Italian giants value the shot stopper less than Arsenal’s £14m and are hoping to sign the player for a lesser fee.

The Poland goalkeeper has adapted to life in Italy so well and can now speak Italian perfectly which is reportedly one of the reasons Roma wants to sign him.

Szczesny would prefer to return to the Emirates but doesn’t want to sit on the bench, his chances of being Arsenal’s first choice goalie is very slim due to the presence Petr Cech and David Ospina, meaning a permanent move to Roma could happen.

While Szczesny will be a perfect successor to the Czech Republic man when he retires, I doubt if Wenger wants to keep the 26 year old. We have been linked with a host of top young goalkeepers like Oblak and Pickford in recent weeks, meaning a permanent move is well on the cards.

Arsenal prepare surprise bid for sensational star Sead Kolasinac

9jagift brings you the latest Arsenal news, match analysis, transfer news, injury news, team news and rumours from trusted media outlets around the world.

Arsenal are interested in signing Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolasinac, according to reports.

Kolasinac who has been a mainstay in Schalke’s first team since 2012 is nearing the end of his contract at the German club and is being tipped to join a new club this summer.

He has made over 80 league appearances for the German side since he joined, establishing himself as one of Schalke’s best performers and Wenger who has been impressed by the player’s performances now wants him at the Emirates.

According to Tuttomercatoweb via the Daily Star, Arsene Wenger wants Kolasinac to arrive at the Emirates in the summer.

The talented fullback’s contract expires at the end of the season and Wenger is keen to sign him on a free. Talks to sign the player could commence this month as FIFA rules allow the player to sign a pre-contract six months to the end of his contract.

Arsenal have been linked with a host of left backs in recent months and recently completed the signing of Cohen Bramall who is also a left back from non-league side Hernesford town.

The Telegraph has made us believe that Wenger is keen on signing a quality left back in the summer as uncertainty over the futures of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs continue but I doubt if Kolasinac is that man the club is looking to sign.

I really don’t know how good Kolasinac is but I think Tuttomercatoweb is just matching us up with the defender due to to claims that Wenger would look to sign a player in that position in the summer.

Done Deal: Arsenal Agree deal with Dutch club for No 10 playmaker

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles to take youngster Dan Crowley on loan until the end of the season.
Crowley who spent part of the first half of this season at Oxford United is now set to move abroad. The young midfielder had a successful trial at the Eredivisie side last month, impressing coach Han de Koning in the process and will now join them for the second half of the season.

The youngster was part of Arsenal’s preseason tour in 2015 and he is one who is expected to have a big future if he can fulfill his potential and for him to be able to do that, he needs to make the most of this loan opportunity.
Go Ahead Eagles technical manager Dennis Bekking is happy to sign the midfielder and has praised his quality saying, as quoted by Daily Cannon:
”Crowley has made quite an impression. He belongs in terms of technical skills among the better talents from Arsenal, but in England they are also asked other things.
”He’s strong on the ball and can play well between the lines.
“We see in him a number 10, but Crowley also left hanging from the feet [?]”
