According to the Talksport reports, Arsenal and Chelsea look set for a transfer battle over Serie A outcast Stefan de Vrij after Lazio have announced about defenders availability.

According to the Guardian reports, Arsenal full-back, Hector Bellerin is close to agreeing on a new deal with the club, according to his agent.
The 21-year-old Spaniard has been heavily linked with a switch to La Liga defending champions Barcelona, while Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Manchester City have also expressed for his signature in the recent months, however, he has three years remaining on his current deal and now has been linked with signing a new bumper deal with the Gunners.
Bellerin’s transfer agent, Albert Botines, held talks with Arsenal last week and during his interview with the Guardian he has confirmed that the deal for a defender is close.
“We are speaking and are now a lot closer than we were two weeks ago. In a normal situation, he will sign.
“Hector is very happy at Arsenal. This would be the fourth time he has signed a new contract at the club and it is clear he has made good progress.”
Bellerin, who broke into the Arsenal first team since his move from La Liga giants Barcelona has been one of the Greatest full-back’s in Premier League and Gunners are desperate to tie him down at the Emirates.
The Spaniard had revealed his desire to remain at Emirates stadium and rubbished rumours surrounding his possible move to Nou Camp.
According to the Bild, reports Premier League giants Arsenal have made £80 million approach for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the big money move for his signature rejected, according to the players agent Vincenzo Morabito.
Arsene Wenger’s side were in the market for attacking reinforcements during the summer transfer window and ended up with signing Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez for a £17.1m deal.
Gabon international striker had attracted interest from hosts of top European clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City, however, Morabito claims tha the Gunners were also in the market for the Aubameyang, who has already netted 14 goals in 14 games for Dortmund in 2016/17 season.
‘Sometime ago, I called [Michael] Zorc, Dortmund’s director of football, to talk about Aubameyang, but the ‘no’ was absolutely categorical,’ Morabito told IamNaples.it.
‘I know that this summer, Arsenal offered €90 million [£80m] for Aubameyang, but Borussia didn’t want to hear anything about it.’
Arsenal fans have been desperate to see a world-class striker arriving at Emirates stadium and it is believed that the Gunner will try once again to sign Aubameyang next summer.
