Arsene Wenger Handed Transfer Boost in Chase For Rapid No.7

Arsene Wenger has been  long-term admirer of French superstar Griezmann and earlier this week Atletico Madrid ace has  given hope of one day signing him stating taht Premier League could be his next destination.

The los Colchoneros head-coach Diego Simeone has been linked with an exit from Vincente Calderon at the end of the current campaign and it has increased rumours surrounding rapid No.7 Griezmann.

Frenchman is believed to be a transfer target for Arsenal rivals Man United and Chelsea, with reports stating that Jose Mourinho planning to make him his next marquee signing after luring Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Old Trafford earlier in the summer.

Arsenal head-coach Arsene Wenger has been impressed with the performance of Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista after 3-1 win over Bournemouth.explained his decision to use centre-back Gabriel as a right-sided defender in the 3-1 triumph over AFC Bournemouth while revealing he was happy with the Brazilian’s contribution.

“He was playing in Brazil and I must say that it was not super convincing, but today he did well.”

After the long-term injury Gabriel Paulista has finally returned to action and expected to play a vital role in the Gunners title-chasing season.
